William K. Tamblyn, 76 of Rostraver Twp, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Mon Valley Hospital, Washington County.
He was born in Mt. Pleasant on December 12, 1945 the son of the late John F. and Edna Shandorf Tamblyn.
Bill was a member of St. Anne’s R. C. Church, Rostraver Twp. where he and his late wife served as Eucharistic Ministers for over 10 years.
He was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1964. He was employed for 23 years as a Carbonator for the former Jones Brewing Co, of Smithton as well as Human Resources of Allegheny County for the Special Needs Population. Bill was always known as a “Nice Guy”.
Bill was an avid collector of 027 Lionels and K and Williams Trains. He also enjoyed collecting Antiques and enjoyed camping at his cabin in Farmington.
Bill is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

Bills’ family will greet friends Sunday from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday, January 3, 2022 at 10:30AM in the Funeral Home, with his Funeral Mass to be held at 11AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale with Rev. Elmer Alforque, as Celebrant.
Committal Services will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale
The family suggests that Masks are recommended when visiting the funeral home and for the Funeral Mass.
