William J. Szczygiel, Jr.

William J. Szczygiel, Jr, 73, of Everson, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday afternoon, October 24,2023 at his home. Bill was born August 11,1950 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late William J. and Betty Rae Snyder Szczygiel. Bill was a graduate of Fitch High School of Ohio. Bill was known as an amazing musician and drummer. His love for music started in Everson with some friends which led him to become a member of the band The Polka Tones of Ohio. Bill was a retired Truck Driver for Seaman Wholesale for a number of years. He loved spending time with his children, especially his grandchildren. Bill is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, The Love of his life, who they spent day and night together; Janet L. Szczygiel and wife Karisa of Germany Erica Hanes and Husband Michael of Yardley, PA John W. Szczygiel and wife Rebecca of Elizabeth, PA Carrie A. Bosley and Husband A.J. of Uniontown, PA His 18 Grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. His Sister: Barb Fuese of Youngstown, OH. His Nephew: Jim Fuese and wife Sue of Youngstown, OH. A Gathering of Family and friends will be held Thursday, Nov. 2 2023 from 4 PM– 6PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale. Bill’s cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
