William J. Pellas

William J. “Buz” Pellas, 76 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, January 11, 2023 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.

He was born October 27, 1946 in Ohio the son of the late George and Veronica Palcisco Pellas.

Buz for many years attended his own Parish, Our Lady of Grace, Greensburg. He was a devout Catholic who was devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and prayed a special Prayer everyday at 3PM.

He was a graduate of Streetsboro Ohio, High School. He was employed as a Dry Wall Finisher for his father’s company, George’s Dry Wall with 25 years of service.

Buz was a kind and lovable person with a smile that will be hard to forget. Music and dancing was a good part of his life. He especially loved the “Oldies” and “Shag Dancing”, Disco music. He enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with Richard and his family.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Buz is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His Soulmate of 49 years, Richard Rozycki, whom he loved dearly and was at his side as he passed peacefully.

 A public Memorial Mass will be offered for relatives and friends on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11 AM in  the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, with Rev. Elmer Alforque, Celebrant.
