William Collins Obituary

William B. Collins, 80 of Alverton, passed away Monday evening, July 18, 2022 at Harmon House while being comforted by his loving family.

He was born October 11, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late George and Lottie Miller Collins.

Bill was a member of the Center Bethel Church of God, Alverton.

He was a graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School Class of 1959. He was a retired employee of Anchor Hocking Glass as a mould maker with 41 years of service.

Bill was a proud Veteran of the U S. Army serving during the Vietnam War with HQ HQ Co 110th infantry 28th Division.

He was a member of the Fort Allen Antique Farm Equipment Association, Pa Gun Collectors Association and the N.R.A. He was a loving Husband and Father to his family and a friend to all who knew him.

Bill is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His loving and devoted wife of 43 years, whom he married Nov. 25, 1978

Bills’ family will greet friends Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683. The family requests that Masks be worn for Viewing and Funeral Services.

His Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11AM in the Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Kline, officiating of Center Bethel Church of God, Alverton.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Alverton Cemetery.

Full Military Honors will be accorded at the Gravesite by the Scottdale Everson Honor Guard.
