William J. Bugosh, 76 of Alverton, passed away Saturday evening, January 21, 2023 at his residence, while being comforted by his loving family.
Bill was born November 20,1946 in Pittsburgh the son of the late Anna Bugosh, who died March 18, 1982.
He was a longtime and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. John R.C. Church, Scottdale.
He was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1964. He then Graduated from Opticians Institute of Pittsburgh in 1973.
Bill manufactured and assembled eyeglasses with precise prescriptions for Dr. Margaret Swinker of Brownsville for many years, previously he was employed as an optical manager for Pearl Vision, from Aug. 1977 to Feb. 1986 and also Duling Optical in Louisville, KY.
Bill was a member of Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post #446 and proudly served on the American Legion Honor Guard. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving with the 443rd Supply Squad, MAC from July 15, 1964 – July 12, 1968, attaining the Rank of E-3.
Bill is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him;
His loving and devoted wife, Roxanne Eutsey Askey Bugosh, whom he married, Nov. 13, 1998.

A Memorial Mass for Bill will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, with Rev. Elmer Alforque, as Celebrant.
The Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post #446 will bestow Military Honors at the Church following the Memorial Mass.
Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.
Inurnment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
