Obituary

William F. Baker, Jr., 87 of Scottdale, passed away early Friday morning, October 1, 2021 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born December 12, 1933 in Norvelt, the son of the late William F. and Sarah Baker, Jr.

Bill retired from Power X of Youngwood as a Machinist

Bill is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His loving and devoted wife of 22 years Frances R. Nelson Gray, whom he married August 27, 1999

His Children:

Dorothy Ann Heinbaugh and husband Calvin

Robert Baker

Timothy Baker

Deborah Baker

Michael Baker all of Bridgeport

And Marsha Spaugy and husband David of Scottdale

His Grandchildren:

Melissa Cowden, Jerry Hall, Nathaniel Skelton, Alicia Skelton and Brandon Skelton

His Great Grandchildren:

Ava Cowden, Jayden Prinkey and Jensen Skelton

His Siblings:

David Baker and wife Sandy of Somerset

Nancy Zimmerman and husband Richard “Dick” of Latrobe

Sarah Jane Heide and husband Wayne of Latrobe

In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by:

Wife: Agnes Dombroski (1998)

Sisters: Doris Keitz and Peggy Wallace

Grandson: Jessie Hall

Bill’s family will greet friends on Monday from 2 – 4PM & 6- 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.

His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10AM in the Funeral Home with his brother, Pastor David Baker, Officiating. 

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
