Tricia Nudo Obituary

Tricia A. Nudo, age 50, of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly and is now at peace on April 23, 2024. Born on December 20, 1973, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, Tricia was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and partner whose warmth and love touched all who knew her. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Tricia was the beloved daughter of Donna King Richey and her husband Jim, of West Palm Beach, Florida and the late Robert Nudo. She grew up surrounded by a loving family, including her siblings Erin D. Whipkey and husband Daniel, Robert Nudo and wife Lori, and Steven Nudo, all of whom cherished her deeply. Tricia was also a devoted niece to her Aunt Bonita and her husband Danny Damico of Hunker, and her Uncle Jim "Slick" Nudo of Connellsville. Her caring nature extended to her nephew, Michael Nudo. Her life was enriched by her loving partner, Lori Miller of Connellsville, with whom she shared many treasured moments. Tricia carried the fond memories of those who preceded her in death, including her father Robert Nudo, and her maternal grandparents, Beatrice P. and Ervin R. King, as well as her paternal grandparents, Tilly and James Nudo. Tricia attended St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Scottdale. She was a proud alumnus of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1992, and furthered her education at Westmoreland County Community College, where she pursued her passion for art. Tricia’s creativity and keen eye for beauty were evident in all aspects of her life. Tricia's love for the outdoors was reflected in her membership at the Bridgeport Sportsmens Club. She found solace and joy in fishing, a pastime that allowed her to connect with nature and enjoy the simpler pleasures of life. Her compassionate spirit extended to her pets, and she had an unwavering love for her cats, who were more than pets to her; they were her cherished companions. Professionally, Tricia dedicated 13 years of service as a Kitchen Lead for Getgo in Mt. Pleasant. Her commitment to her work and the camaraderie she shared with her colleagues were hallmarks of her character. Tricia's hard work, reliability, and warm-hearted nature made her a respected and valued member of the Getgo team. Tricia’s cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
