Thomas Weisel Obituary

Thomas R. Weisel, 78, of Greensburg passed away Tuesday evening, January 25, 2022, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by those who love him.

He was born September 17, 1943 in Scottdale the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy Christiansen Weisel.

He was a Graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1961. He was a retired engineer for Kennametal Inc. of Latrobe, with 45 years of service. He taught Geometric Tolerancing Dimensioning and training at Eastern and Central Westmoreland Vo-Tech for a number of years. He also was an avid fisherman.

Thomas was a devoted member of Emmanuel Bible Church of Norvelt.

Thomas was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother to his family and a Friend to many.

Thomas is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Carrol L. Pologruto Weisel, whom he married June 27, 1964.

Family and Friends of Thomas are cordially invited, Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2 – 4PM & 6 -8PM to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683. The doors will be locked between visitation hours.

Additional viewing will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the hour of his Funeral Service, with Christopher Barnes, Facilitating.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Westmoreland Memorial Park, Greensburg.
