Steven J Hawk

Steven J. Hawk, 40 of Scottdale, passed away unexpectedly, due to previous health conditions, Monday afternoon, March 28, 2022 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born June 17, 1981 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Wendell E. and Karen L. Welling Hawk of Scottdale.

Steve was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1999. He was a Professional Truck Driver with Teamsters Local #30, working on the pipelines. Previously, he was employed as a Coal Miner with Consol Energy with 7 years of service and most recently with Mt. Pleasant Removal Service as a tech for over a year.

Steve was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and a Friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his Parents, Steven’s life will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

Steve’s family cordially invites family and friends Thursday from 2 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.

Additional Visitation will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10AM – 10:45AM, with his Funeral Service to begin at 11AM in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy R. Winemiller, Officiating, of New Beginnings Church of God of Prophecy, Everson.
