Sara N. Watson

Sara N. Watson, 89 of North Chestnut St., Scottdale passed away Saturday morning, April 1, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family.

She was born February 10, 1934 in Scottdale the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Naomi R. Trout Hoffman.

Sara was a member of Mt. Carmel Church, Mt. Pleasant.

She was a retired School Teacher who taught English and French for Frazier School District from 1970-1993. She also taught at Mt. Carmel Christian School from 1993-2010.

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister to her family.

She was loved by many, including her family, her students, faculty members, and her church family.

Sara is gone from our lives but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving Children:

Heather Krall and husband Michael of Scottdale

Charles “Eddie” Watson of Irwin

Her Six Grandchildren:

James Butts, USAF, Kyle Butts, U.S. Navy, Charlotte Butts Merritt, Katianna Butts Brown, Denev Fields, Lucas Watson and Cody Uhrinek

Her Five Great Grandchildren:

James Butts IV, Greyson Brown, Emma Butts, Addy and Riley

Her Siblings:

Mary Hoffman Mulhorn of Mt. Pleasant

George Hoffman and wife JoAnne of Venice, Fla.

Sara’s family and Friends are cordially invited to the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8PM.

Her Funeral Service and her Daughter Heather E. Krall will be held Thursday April 6, 2023, at 11AM in the Funeral Home, with her Pastor Rick Fox, Officiating.

Interment will be Private.

The Funeral Home Doors will be locked between visiting hours.
