Sandra L. Tarr

Sandra L. Tarr, 71 of Hunker, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, June 29, 2023 at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born August 14, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Herbert Q. and Martha “Elfreda” Tarr, who passed away Oct. 1, 2008 and Nov. 14, 2006, respectively. Sandra attended New Stanton Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, watching scary movies, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sandra is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Her Loving Children: Sandra “Genee” Cochran and fiancé Danny Morrison of Everson Christopher Sarsfield and wife Lisa of Mt. Pleasant Anthony Sarsfield and wife Michelle of Elizabeth Shanna Anderson and fiancé Tawaan Baker of Youngwood Elly Tukesbrey of Hunker and Brian Harr of Bedford Her 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Her Siblings: Daniel Q. Tarr and wife Valerie of Washington, Pa. Sharon L. Franks and husband Ed of Tarrs Terri L. Miller and husband John of Hunker Her Sister-In-Law: Paula Tarr of Ruffsdale And her canine companion and best buddy, Tucker In addition to her Parents, Sandra was preceded in death by: Husband: Samuel J. Sarsfield Granddaughter: Brittany Tukesbrey Brothers: Herbert and Timothy Tarr. Family and Friends of Sandra are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 7 PM the hour of her Funeral Service in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Stanley Picener, Officiating.  Interment will be Monday, July 3, 2023, at 11 AM in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs.
