Ruth A. "Ree" Luczka, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Born on May 31, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Ree was a woman whose life was a testament to the power of positivity and the strength of the human spirit. She was a proud graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1979, and brought her passion for life into her professional career. Ree dedicated over two decades of service as a store manager for Ames department stores, where her creativity and leadership shone brightly. Beyond her professional endeavors, she was an active member of the Everson Polish American Club. Ree's creative side was a wellspring of joy for both herself and others. She had a remarkable talent for interior design, transforming spaces into warm, inviting havens with her unique touch. Her handmade wreaths were not just decorations but expressions of beauty that captured the essence of every season. Ree's gift-wrapping skills turned simple presents into treasured works of art, making every occasion special. Her love for her cats was profound, and they were not merely pets but cherished members of her family. Ree's compassionate heart knew no bounds, and her furry companions were a source of comfort and happiness throughout her life. Perhaps the most profound legacy Ree leaves behind is her love story with her best friend and husband, Tim Luczka of Everson, whom she married on January 4, 1992. Their relationship was a beautiful example of mutual adoration and deep connection. Ree is survived by her adoring family, including her Mother Ruth Ann Ross Dzambo of Scottdale, her Son Marty and Crystal, her Siblings Eugene "Gene" Dzambo, Jr. of Scottdale, and Mary Jo Hixson and husband Jeff of Scottdale, her caring Sister-in-laws, Rosalyn and her husband John Schmidt of Scottdale, Elaine Pappasergi and her husband Bruno of Fallowfield Twp., her Brother-in-law Philip Luczka and wife Deborah of Connellsville, and a cherished group of nieces and nephews. Her father, Eugene "Gene" Dzambo, preceded her in death on December 23, 2016. Ree’s family will greet friends Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2PM – 7PM, in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683. Parting Prayers will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:30AM in the Funeral Home with her Funeral Mass to follow in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson.
