Ruby A. (Clark) Burton

Ruby A. Burton, 76, of Mt. Pleasant,formerly of Scottdale, passed away Saturday evening, January 14, 2023 at Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.

She was born February 1, 1946 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Ray and Annabel Miller Clark.

Ruby was Methodist by faith and attended Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Tarrs.

She was a Graduate of East Huntingdon High School, Class of 1963. She attended WCCC and was employed as a Sales Associate for Walmart of Greensburg and retired from Mt. Pleasant Walmart in 2015. Previously, she was employed by Jimmy Paul’s Restaurant and the Howard Johnson Restaurant of New Stanton with 15 years of service.

Ruby was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend to all who knew her.

Ruby is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Ruby’s family will greet friends Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 11AM – 1PM at which time her Funeral Service will take place in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 W. Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or to a Charity of your choice in memory of Ruby.
