Ronald "Ron" Kruckvich, 74, a man of remarkable intelligence, boundless creativity, and a gentle spirit, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the Gathering Place in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Born on July 24, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Walter J. and Esther L. Lewandowksi Kruckvich. He was a longtime member of the Partner Parish of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson. A proud graduate of Geibel High School's class of 1969, he carried his passion for knowledge to Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Education. His time at university not only honed his intellectual abilities but also shaped him into the thoughtful and articulate man known to all. Throughout his life, Ron's sisters, Susan M. Kruckvich of McClure, Cynthia E. Yialouris and her husband Luke of New Kensington, and Sandra A. Brasili and her husband Alan of Chester, VA, witnessed his unwavering commitment to family. His nieces, Claire Brasili and Paige Peeters, both of Chester, VA, will forever cherish their memories of their beloved uncle. Ron's love for his family extended to his cousins and friends, with whom he spent countless joyous occasions. He was the kind of person who brought light into the lives of those around him. His intelligence was evident in his insightful conversations and his ability to navigate complex topics with ease. As a creative soul, Ron found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Ron’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 10AM – 12PM at which time a Funeral Liturgy will be held with Fr. Julius Capongongan, officiating. Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Everson.
