Roger E. “Yogi” Johnston, 60 of Scottdale, died peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his home, Sunday morning, May 28, 2023.
He was born in Connellsville, October 23, 1962, a Son of the late Presley and Lorraine Cope Johnston.
He was a Graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1981. Roger was a retired welder at Duraloy Blaw-Knox Corp. Scottdale with 6 years of service. Previously he was employed as a welder at B.A.E. Systems, Lemont Furnace, with 16 years of service. Roger enjoyed “Tinkering Around” his home doing painting, remodeling different areas of his home, and also enjoyed gardening. His most enjoyable pastime was spending quality time with his Grand Children. He also enjoyed listening to Gospel music and Country Western music.
Roger is survived by his Loving Wife of 39 years, Eleanor B. (DEE DEE) Dublanski Johnston, whom he married July 30, 1983.

In addition to his parents. Roger was predeceased by two Siblings, Dennis and Vicky Johnston
Family and Friends of Roger are cordially invited to the FRANK KAPR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 417 Pittsburgh Street Scottdale, Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 in the Funeral Home at 11AM with Rev. Elmer Alforque.
