Peter Findrick Obituary

Peter D. Findrick, 67 of Ruffsdale, passed away early Friday morning, July 30, 2021 in the comfort of his Home while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. July 28, 1954 the son of the late Peter A. and Agnes Smutko Findrick.

Peter was Catholic by faith.

He was a Graduate of Norwin High School, Class of 1972. He then attended and graduated from California University with a Teaching Degree in Secondary Education and Industrial Arts. He enjoyed collecting Classic and Vintage Cars as well as Restoring them. Peter also loved to work around his home, keeping his homeplace beautiful.

He was a former Grinder for U.S. Steel Works Corp, Duquesne Works.

He was a Volunteer for the Trooper Kenton Iwaniec Foundation. One of his biggest joys were his beloved Dobermans Ruby and Sigmund.

Peter is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His Two Canine Companions:

Ruby and Sigmund

In addition to his parents, Peter was preceded in death by:

His Dobermans, Buddy and Bo Didley

Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 Sunday from 2- 4PM & 6 – 8PM.

His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Monday at 10AM with Pastor Jason Weaver, Pastor of Calvary Church, Irwin, Officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Trooper Kenton Iwaniec Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
