Nellie Lynn, 92 of Dawson passed away early Friday morning, October 22, 2021 at Bella Health Center of Uniontown.
She was born November 18, 1928 in Dawson, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lida Swink Keffer.
Nellie was a member of Bryan Methodist Church, Dawson where she was also a Sunday School Teacher.
Nellie was a member of the First class for Licensed Practical Nurses in Hopwood, Fayette Co. Class of 1966. She also was licensed in the state of Arizona as a Practical Nurse.
Nellie was an avid reader who has traveled extensively thru the United States and Canada. She enjoyed hunting, fishing with both of her husbands, who preceded her in death.
She also enjoyed word games and cards and singing. Nellie was known for her homemade bread.
Nellie was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and Sister to her family.
Nellie is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Her Brothers: Thomas, Levi, Charles, Donald, E.H., Clifford Keffer
Nellie’s family will greet friends Monday, October 25, 2021 from 2- 4PM & 6 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11AM in the Funeral Home with her Pastor Ed Sutton, Officiating.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Cochran Cemetery, Dawson
