Nancy M. Pletcher Watson 80, of Vandalia, Missouri, formerly of
Connellsville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 16, 2022 in
Bowling Green Missouri at Parkside Mannor.
She was born May 5, 1941 in Scottdale, a daughter of the late William
and Marie Waywood Pletcher.
Nancy was a member and former deacon of Calvin United Presbyterian
Church of Scottdale. She also attended Leisenring Presbyterian Church
during her son, Richard Watson's Ministry there which lasted
approximately twenty years. She also attended the First Presbyterian
Church of Vandalia Mo where her son Rev. Richard W. Watson is
currently serving as pastor.
Nancy enjoyed volunteering for the Leisenring Presbyterian Church food
bank, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed
being part of the former Connellsville area senior social club.
Nancy’s Life will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted Son,
Rev. Richard W. Watson of Vandalia Mo. and each of her church
families,
And her Brother: Robert Pletcher of Scottdale
And a number of nieces and nephews including Mary Margaret Trubiani
and her son Andrew.
She is also cherished by Amanda Asbury and her children. Amanda was
Nancy's caregiver while she was in Pa. but soon became just one
of our extended family.
Other people who will forever cherish Nancy include Emily Gigliotti
and her husband Nathan and their three children Mia, Olivia, and Julia
from Everson.
She will also be missed by Perry Spires and his wife Melanie and their
children of Mount Pleasant. Nancy or Nanan was Emily and Perry
(P.J.)'s babysitter as they grew up.
She will also be missed by many friends.
In addition to her parents Nancy was predeceased by her
Husband Richard C. Watson, Oct 23, 1997.

Nancy's Son Rick, cordially invites family and Friends to the Frank
Kapr Funeral Home, Inc, 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Thursday, April
21, from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Additional Visitation will be Friday from 10 AM to 11 AM at which time
her Funeral Service will begin in the Funeral Home, with her Son, the
Rev. Richard W. Watson, officiating.
Nancy’s final resting place will be in the Alverton Cemetery, next to
her late husband, Richard and Infant Daughter Agnes.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Memorials be made to the
First Presbyterian Church of Vandalia, in memory of Nancy.
