Nancy L. Rose, 78 of Connellsville, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, September 1, 2023 at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital. She was born August 6, 1945 in Upper Tyrone Twp., the daughter of the late Sarah Basinger. Nancy was a long time member of the Scottdale Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1963. She was a formerly employed as a Cook for the former Tartal’s Restaurant, Scottdale and the Connellsville YMCA, Nancy retired from Adelphia Village where she was employed for 15 years as the Dietary Coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Nancy is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Her loving Children: Deanna Sirgey and husband Bill, Jerry Secrest, Kelly Smitley and husband Keith, Jennifer Brown and husband Robert all of Connellsville Her Grandchildren: Jamie Gore and husband Jude, Rachel Suter, Jerry Secrest and companion Charli Webster, Alexis Secrest, Shania Secrest, Jackson Secrest, Leland Secrest, Ryder Secrest, Keisha Smitley and companion Terry Murphy, Keith Smitley, Jayden Smith, Tyler Brown, Sierra Brown, Caitlyn Secrest and Fiance Justin Cummings, Jessica Secrest and Fiance James Lint, Emily Secrest. And a number of Great Grandchildren Her 3 Cats, Sassy, Gizmo and Rosie and her Dog Tucker. In addition to her Mother, she was preceded in death by: Son: Melvin C.
