She grew up in the "Pinetree" area of Scottdale and had many lifelong childhood friends.

She loved living in Scottdale and cherished her home on 5th Avenue in the "Browntown" area where she was a friend to many wonderful neighbors.

She loved roller skating and took her children to Steiners Skating rink all at very young ages.

She was a 1956 graduate of Scottdale High School and was honored to be chosen the Gridiron Queen of her class. Actively involved in many reunions, she loved reminiscing with her former classmates and friends.

On July 3, 1958, she married John Richard (Dick)

Coffman and they spent 63 years together.

Walking was her true passion. A dedicated walker, she never missed a day walking with her best friend, Susan Sever. They could be seen walking in all weather. Her daughter Judy encouraged her to enter 5k walks. After her first walk (and win!) She was hooked and competed well in her 70's.

Mona loved to bowl and was a member of the "Good Looking Girls" women's bowling league for many years.

She was actively involved in her church, Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ, Scottdale. She loved working with the church members on all their fundraising events.
