Mary M. (Bruno) Trubiani

Mary M. Bruno Trubiani, 70, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, at Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg. Born on August 28, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Frank Bruno, Sr. and Edna Bruno. Her years were marked by an unwavering devotion to her family, an infectious spirit of generosity, and a capacity for love that enriched the lives of all who knew her. Mary was a lifelong resident of the area, having graduated from South Huntingdon High School in the Class of 1972. Her early career saw her as a dedicated clerk at Montgomery Wards, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her warm, welcoming smile. Later, she channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into a successful venture, Mary's Racing Collectibles, which she owned and operated with her late husband, Ronald A. "Truby" Trubiani. But it was through her role as a mother, sister, and friend that Mary truly shone. Her son, Andrew Kohler, and his wife Courtney of Johnstown; felt the full measure of her love and selflessness every day. Mary's brother, Don Bruno, and his wife Jackie and her sisters, Judy Kulik and her husband Tom and Linda Evans will forever remember her spirited laughter and the countless memories they shared. Mary also leaves behind several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Her canine companion, Valentine, was a source of unending joy, as were her grand puppies, Portia Jane and Cody, who could always bring a smile to her face. Mary always enjoyed being a part of planning events and holiday parties at the Scottdale Plaza. Her love for crafting was not just a hobby but a way of bringing people together. She was the magnetic force that drew people into her world, making friends effortlessly and maintaining those bonds with a rare and genuine care. This was evident in her cherished relationships with her faithful friends from Scottdale Plaza Apartments – Bruce and Lydia, Phyllis, Jody, Renee, and Ryan – who became like an extended family over the years. In addition to her beloved parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. "Truby" Trubiani, who passed away on April 7, 2016, and her son, Ronald A. Trubiani, II, in 2017. Her Siblings, Frank Bruno, Jr and Marilyn Gaut. Mary’s Family will greet friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 from 12PM -2PM and 4PM – 6PM at which time her Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Dave Lingsch officiating. The family requests that attendees please wear casual attire. Private Committal Services and Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
