Mary O’Dell Pitzer, 93 of Scottdale, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
She was born December 3, 1927 in Quinwood, West Virginia the daughter of the late Rev. Wilburt A. and Jane Chapman O’Dell.
She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Scottdale.
Mary was a graduate of Shepherd College of Shepherdstown, W.Va.. She was the previous owner of Top Oil Company of Norvelt. She was a member of the Scottdale Book Club for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and collecting hats to add to her collection.
Mary is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Mary’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 on Friday from 6PM – 8PM.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11AM in the Funeral Home with her Pastor Rev. Robert Nagy officiating.
Entombment will follow in Middle Churches Presbyterian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp.
