Mary Margaret Melillo 90, of Scottdale, passed away Thursday, December 24,2020, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, in the caring presence of her Son, Michael.
She was born April 2,1930 in Kittanning PA a daughter of the late George and Margaret Kirst Minor
Mary Margaret was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale. She was proud volunteer for the former Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, where she served for a number of years.
She also enjoyed admiring different types of Birds and she also enjoyed her beautiful Flower and Vegetable gardens she cared for many years
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving Son’s.

Mary Margaret’s family cordially invite family and Friends Tuesday from 10 AM to 11 AM the time of her Liturgy, with Rev Elmer Alforque, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Church, Scottdale, as Facilitator, in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburg Street, Scottdale.
Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrance’s, the family suggests memorials be made to the local Salvation Army in Mary Margaret’s name.
Due to the strict guidelines, issued by the Department of Health, to Funeral Homes, Masks are mandated as well as Social Distancing.
