Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) Meader

Mary Elizabeth “Mary Beth” Meader, 63 of Acme, Pa. passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 25, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born January 7, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Amos F. and Rose Mary Spinella Soforic, Sr.

She was a member of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Mt. Pleasant.

Mary Beth was a Graduate of Geibel Catholic High School Class of 1976. A few years later she graduated from Triangle Tech and graduated as a Business Administrator. Presently, she was employed as the Administrative Assistant at Hill Top Labs, Scottdale with 23 years of service.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society, Mt. Pleasant. She loved entering numerous online contests and baking in general. Her greatest joy was making cookies for her son and daughters-in-law wedding that was August 20, 2021.

Mary Beth is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Her loving and devoted husband Ernest E. Meader of 37 years, whom she married February 11, 1984.

And a Sister-In-Law, Linda Soforic

Mary Beth’s family will greet friends Sunday from 1 – 3PM and 5 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.

Parting Prayers will be held Monday at 9:15AM in the Funeral Home with her Funeral Mass to follow in St. Pius X R.C. Church, Mt. Pleasant, with Fr. Rick Kosisko as Celebrant.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.

The Funeral Home Doors will be locked between visiting hours.
