Mary Jane Grimm Hyde, 73 of Alverton, passed away peacefully, late Monday evening, December 28, 2020 at In touch Hospice, Somerset, in the presence of her caring family.
She was born October 2, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy Shawley Grimm.
Mary was a member of the Alverton Church of God.
She was a Graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1966. She was employed by Westinghouse of Youngwood and the Sony Cooperation, New Stanton for a number of years. Mary was a former member of the Red Hat Ladies. Her love for her Grandchildren was priority and she enjoyed being involved in their lives and sport activities. She also enjoyed gardening at her home.
Mary is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,
Her loving and devoted Husband of 49 years, James Kenneth Hyde, whom she married January 11, 1971,
of Alverton.

In honoring Mary’s wishes there will be no Public Visitation. Her Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
Inurnment will take place in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Bullskin Twp. at the convenience of the family.
