Mary Eileen (Newell) Hall

Mary Eileen Hall,71, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on January 2, 2024, in Independence Health Latrobe Hospital. Born on February 3, 1952, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, Eileen’s life was a testament to her thoughtful nature and boundless love. Eileen, known affectionately to friends and family simply as Eileen, was a graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1970. As a devoted wife to her husband, Kerry L. Hall of Scottdale, Elieen’s partnership was a cornerstone of their shared life, filled with moments of joy, support, and unwavering commitment. Her love knew no bounds as a Mother to Bob K. Hall of Scottdale and Lori E. Kimmel of Mt. Pleasant, nurturing them with a gentle strength that empowered them to grow into remarkable individuals. Eileen’s legacy continued to blossom through her Granddaughters, Emily and Madison Kimmel, to whom she was not just a grandmother but a mentor, confidante, and an endless source of unconditional love. Her Brother, Robert Newell of Texas, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will hold dear the memories of Eileen’s kindness and the thoughtful gestures that defined her. Preceded in death by her parents, Eileen’s spirit continues to live on through the lives of her loved ones. Her teachings and her love are woven into the fabric of their beings, a tapestry of her influence that will continue to provide comfort and guidance. Eileen’s family will greet friends on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
