Martha Lint, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away suddenly yet peacefully at her residence Friday, July 26, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on October 8, 1931, in East Huntingdon Twp. Martha's life was one of dedication to her family and the simple pleasures that bring color to our daily lives. She was known for her love of crossword and puzzle books. A master of the card table, Martha's UNO games were legendary, and her competitive yet jovial spirit was a source of laughter and fond memories for her family. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Martha's favorite times were those surrounded by her loved ones, including her brothers Larry Lint and his wife Gladys of Wendel, and Daniel Lint of Scottdale, with whom she resided. She also held a special place in her heart for her sister-in-laws, Doris Lint of Everson and Teresa Lint Cesario of Bullskin Twp. Her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she adored, will miss her guiding presence and her boundless love. Martha's home was filled with the companionship and antics of her loving cat, BoBo, who was a constant source of comfort. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. Lint, Sr. (10-27-1976) and LuLu Belle Tressler (12-5-1987). She was also preceded in death by her brothers Richard Lint (9-2-1984), George Lint (1-20-1969), Charles E. Lint, Jr. (8-8-2008), James J. Lint (8-7-2015), Donald F. Lint (6-6-2018), and her sisters Florence Cutruzzula (6-10-2007), Catherine Povlik (5-27-2011), Mary Pologruto (6-17-2018), and Ruth J. Sirianni (3-13-2014). Each of them held a special place in her life, and she carried their memories with her always. Martha's life was a tapestry of meaningful relationships and cherished moments. She had a unique way of making each of her family members feel deeply loved, from her favorites like Richard Lint, David Cramer, Sr., and Karen Black, to the youngest of her nieces and nephews. Martha’s family cordially invites Family and Friends to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 2 – 4PM & 6- 8PM and Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 10AM – 10 45 AM where her Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM in the Funeral Home, with Pastor Dirk Kaufman, Officiating. Committal Services and Interment will follow in Pennsville Mennonite Cemetery, Upper Tyrone Township. The Funeral Home Doors will be locked from 4PM – 6PM.
