Marjorie D. (Kubiak) Rice

Marjorie D. Kubliak Rice, 101 formerly of Everson, passed away late Sunday evening, August 27 2023, in her Family's embrace,in Eichars Personal Care Home, Normalville. She was born in Pittsburgh, August 20, 1922 a Daughter of the late Max J and Nell R. Kubiak Roth.  Marge was a Devout Catholic and Life Member of St. John The Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale where she attended weekly.  Marge was a retired Nurses Aid at the former Frick Hospital and Community Health Center, Mt. Pleasant with 13 years of loyal service. Previously she had been employed by Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., South Connellsville, PA with 8 years service. Marge was predeceased in death in addition of her Parents by: Husband Ralph F. Rice September 27, 1999 Daughter Maxine Carole Rice in infancy Son Ralph David Rice April 4, 1998 Step-Father George W. Rath, Sr. October 26, 1988 Two Step Sisters Dolores Williams October 28, 1981 Rose E. Nist June 12, 1987 Step-Sister Jane Sherrick Step-Brother Kerry Rath March 6, 2023 Marge is survived by her Son, Lawrence J, Rice and wife Sally of Everson Her Daughter-In-Law Sue Rice Lampo and husband Don of Scottdale A number of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren  A Family Gathering wa held Thursday August 31. 2023 in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale.Marge's Funeral Mass was also held,Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11 AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale. with the Rev.Elmer Forque, Celebrant. Committal Services and interment followed in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Everson.
