Marjorie J. Geer

Marjorie J. “Joney” Geer, 92 of Scottdale, passed away peacefully, early Saturday morning, February 6, 2021 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1929 in Scottdale the daughter of the late James Robert and Evelyn Elizabeth Farmer McFadden.

Joney was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Scottdale.

She was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1947. She was retired from a sales position at J.C. Penney’s in 1991. Most recently, she was employed as a School Crossing Guard for the Southmoreland School District.

In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing quilts and lap covers for the church mission.

Joney is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

In honoring Joney’s wishes there will be no visitation or services at this time.

Inurnment will take place in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale at the convenience of the family.

Joney’s cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale.
