Lorraine P. (Price) Meadows

Lorraine P. Meadows, 87 of Scottdale, passed away peacefully in her Family’s embrace, early Wednesday morning, February 9, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

She was born in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late James L., Sr. and Ethel Moon Price.

Lorraine was a longtime and faithful member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Connellsville. She held multiple offices while fulfilling her ordained purpose in Ministry. She and her late husband Lucas, never missed a Sunday Service.

She was a graduate of Connellsville High School. She was formerly employed with the Pentagon for a number of years, processing DD214 for all Service Personnel.

Lorraine retired as a Proof Reader for the Scottdale Independent – Observer newspaper, with over 20 years’ service.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Friend, neighbor and valued Mentor to many. She loved her family dearly and above all she praised and loved her Lord.

Lorraine is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Friday, February 11, 2022 from 2PM – 8PM.

Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11AM in Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Connellsville with her Pastor, Rev. Nathaniel Milton, Officiating.

Those who wish to attend Lorraine’s Funeral Service, are kindly asked to go DIRECTLY to Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 110 Poplar St. Connellsville.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville.
