Lenore (Bahurka) Rollinson

Lenore Bahurka Rollinson, 84 of Scottdale, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, July 2, 2023 at Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant, while in the company of her loving family and Companion Allen. She was born September 1,1938 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late John W. and Mary Louise Petush Bahurka who passed away July 7, 1989 and April 1, 2008, respectively. Lenore was a devout Catholic and longtime and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale and was member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Lambing #314 as well as helping with the Lenten Fish Fry and other activities at the Church. She was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1956. She was a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary within the Scottdale Fire Dept. She was also a faithful member of Laurel Highlands YMCA for several years. Lenore is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Her Loving and devoted Children: Cynthia “Cindy” Bugosh of Scottdale Robert W. “Rob” Rollinson, Jr. and wife Robin of Scottdale Nancy Stillwell and husband Jeff of Virginia Suzanne Herman and husband Don of Connellsville Her Caring Grandchildren: Justina and husband Bob Newton, Brad and wife Allison Rollinson, Rob Rollinson and wife Mindi, Troy Rollinson and wife Melissa, Lisa Colflesh and husband David, Alyssa Stillwell, Jeffrey Stillwell, Kristina Herman Brooks and husband Stephen, Kelly Rollinson. Her Great Grandchildren: Cody Dodd and wife Mariah, Alayna and Selena Colflesh, Teddy and Ruby Rollinson, Penelope and Gunner Rollinson, Levi and Ledger  Rollinson, Ellie and Tanner Brooks. In October of 2023, Lenore was to become a Great Great Grandmother to Hayden Alexander Dodd. Her Sister: Dolores Golightly of MI. Lenore was fortunate enough to find two true loves in her life, she is also survived by her loving companion of 13 years, Allen Geska of Scottdale Also her Longtime friend, Dorothy Sterrett of Scottdale. In addition to her parents, Lenore was preceded in death by: Husband: Robert W. “Red” Rollinson (Aug. 9, 2005) Brother: John F. Bahurka Son-In-Law: Ron Bugosh (Feb. 4, 2023) Family and Friends of Lenore are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 2-4PM & 6 -8PM and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at which time Prayers of transfer will be offered. Lenore’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church Scottdale, with Rev. Elmer Alforque as Celebrant. Lenore will be laid to rest in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale. Next to her late Husband Robert W. Rollinson. The Funeral Home doors will be closed between visiting hours.
