Lawrence E. Weaver, 75 of Smithton, passed away early Friday morning, June 19, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, with his family by his side following a brief illness..
He was born September 8, 1944 in Cumberland Maryland the son of the late Lawrence C. and Opal Clark Weaver.
He was a member of Barren Run United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of Ft. Asbhy High School, Class of 1962. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving with the 410th Transportation Squad SAC, Feb. 20, 1963 thru Feb. 20, 1967 in Korea during the Vietnam War.
Lawrence was the former owner and operator of his personal truck, employed by George’s Transfer and then began his self-employment as a mechanic for a number of years.
Lawrence is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

Lawrence’s’ family will hold a private visitation on Monday in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683, followed by his Funeral Service, in the Funeral Home, with his Pastor, Rev. John Logan, Officiating.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Barren Run Cemetery, Smithton
