Kenneth S. Bugosh

Kenneth S. Bugosh, 66 of Mt. Pleasant Rd, Scottdale, passed away peacefully, Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home while being comforted by his loving family. He was born July 27, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Paul E. and Helen Marie Stancl Bugosh. Ken was a member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale. He was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1975. After High School, Ken enlisted in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 – 1979. He was employed by Menasha Corrugated Products as a laborer with 18 years of service. Ken was a member of various clubs and loved all Pittsburgh Sports and keeping up with their statistics. He was a numbers man, if you know, you know! He always enjoyed fishing, especially his fishing trips with his brothers. Ken absolutely adored his garden and took so much pride in it. He was so selfless; he would pick his vegetables daily and spend the rest of day delivering them to family and friends. Ken loved to cook for others, especially for his daughter and her family. His greatest joy of all, was cheering on his Grandchildren at their various sporting events. Ken was always their #1 fan. His grandchildren enjoyed coming home daily to see what Pap had left on the porch for them. He was the past President of the Kosciuszko Club. Ken is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, His loving and devoted daughter: Kendra D. Bugosh and wife Dianne of Irwin His Brother- In Law: John Simko of Jefferson Hills His Sister-In-Law: Cynthia Bugosh of Scottdale And a number of Nieces and Nephews In addition to his Parents, Ken was preceded in death by: His Wife: Bonnie F. Krepps Bugosh (Feb. 23, 2002) Brothers: Paul E. Bugosh (Mar. 2, 2018) and Ronald Bugosh (Feb. 4, 2023) Sister: Carole Simko (Apr. 10, 2023) Ken’s family will greet friends Monday, October 23, 2023 from 2 – 4PM & 6- 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683. Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 10:30AM in the Funeral Home, with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11AM in The Partner Parish of St. John R.C. Church, Scottdale with Rev. Elmer Alforque as Celebrant. Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Scottdale. Full Military Honors will be accorded at the Graveside by the Mt. Pleasant American Legion Honor Guard Post #446. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorials be made in memory of Ken to the Nicholson Cancer Fund 2511 Springfield Pike Connellsville, Pa. 15425.
