Katherine Sepkovic

Katherine “Katie” Sepkovic, 73, of Owensdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Born March 18, 1952, in Cuyahoga, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Wayne Fuller Sepkovic and Ruth Lyvone Younkin. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Wayne Sepkovic; nieces, Kathryn Marie Sepkovic and Dana Marie Garcia; and her loving partner and friend, Kathy Weidman.

She was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School, after graduation Katie settled down in Owensdale, PA. She later attended barber school in Pittsburgh and dedicated many years to her profession as part owner of The Esquire in Uniontown, Pa for over 40 years. She was known for her skill, warm personality, and genuine interest in the people she served.

Katie enjoyed camping, boating, gardening, and time with family. She will be remembered for her constant smile, kindness, and was someone who everyone wanted to know and spend time with.

A gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10 AM to 12PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, PA.
