John D. Connors, Sr. 73 of Broadford Road, Everson passed away Monday evening, September 20, 2021 at his home, while being surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 8, 1947 in Everson, the son of the late William R. and Bridget A. Flanagan Connors, Sr.
John was a longtime and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale.
He was a graduate of Geibel High School Class of 1965. He was employed by Skovira Machine Shop before being drafted into the U.S. Army, where he was enlisted for 2 years in Korea. He was employed by Elliott Company of Jeannette as a machinist and retired from there with 42 years of service.
John enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family in his spare time.
He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother to his family.
John is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

John’s family will greet friends Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
Parting Prayers will be held in the Funeral Home, Friday at 9:30AM with his Funeral Mass to be held at 10AM in the Partner Parish of St. John The Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale with Rev. Elmer Alforque, as Celebrant.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale
Military Honors will be held by the Mt. Pleasant American Legion Post Honor Guard #446 at the graveside.
The Funeral Home Doors will be locked between visiting hours.
