Jennifer L. (Colpetzer) Bonsell

Jennifer Lea Bonsell, 43 of New Stanton, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, November 1, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her Husband and Son.

She was born August 19, 1978 in State College, Pa. the daughter of Eileen Kennedy Colpetzer of Pine Grove Mills, Pa. and the late James Colpetzer, who passed away in 2003, respectively.

Jennifer attended Youngwood Methodist Church.

She was a graduated of State College High School Class of 1996. Jennifer then graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Development.

She was employed as an Educator and Director at Montessori, Our Children’s Center, of State College for a number of years. Prior to that she was employed as a Nanny in State College as well.

Jennifer’s most important accomplishment in life was being a Loving Wife and Mother to her husband and son.  During her illness, she enjoyed taking Asher to Hockey practices and games when she could.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her mother and family.

Stephen and Asher would like express their Thanks to their Hockey families for their help and support during these trying times as well the Stanwood Elementary Families.

Her Loving Husband of 18 years, Stephen Bonsell, whom she married, July 19, 2003, of New  Stanton

Kim Patrona and husband Frank of Center Hall, Pa and their daughter, Sara

Cathy Kanour and Terry Rimmey of Bellwood, Pa.

In addition to her father;

Her Black Lab, who was her first baby, Hines, who passed in 2018.

According to Jennifer’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Her Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
