Jeffrey King, Sr. Obituary

Jeffrey S. King, Sr. 69, of Broadford Rd. Connellsville, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully, Thursday evening, February 9, 2023 at his home while being comforted by his family.

Jeff was born November 29, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Milford R. and Retha Huff King, Sr.

Jeff was a faithful member of Jacobs Creek United Methodist Church.

He was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1972. He was the Owner/Operator and Partner of King’s Electric Service, since 1989 until present.

Jeff was an honorary member of the Everson Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Everson Polish American Club.

He always had a love for animals and had a true passion for rescuing animals who were in need of help. Over time, he contributed to numerous animal shelters within the area.

Jeff deeply missed his wife, and is now reunited with the love of his life, Pastor Kimberly Hoyle King once again for eternity.

Jeff is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his loving and devoted Children:

His Grandchildren:

Caleb Hardik and wife Kelly of Everson

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by:

His wife, Pastor Kimberly Hoyle King (April 7, 2020)

His Brothers: Millie King and Jim Hendrickson

Sister-In-Law: Diane Kaufman

Family and Friends of Jeff are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Monday and Tuesday from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM. and Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM, the hour of his Funeral Service, in the Funeral Home, with his Pastor, Shawn Robbins, Officiating

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery, next to his beloved wife Kim.

In honoring Jeff’s passion for animals, the family suggests that memorials be made to Wildlife Works, Inc. P.O. Box 113 Youngwood, Pa. 15697.
