Janet F. Berg, 75 of Scottdale, passed away Thursday morning, July 29, 2021 while being comforted by her family at the home of her daughter, Crissy Grimm of Kittanning.
She was born August 26, 1945 in Connellsville, the daughter of the late Edward Eugene and Edna Stouffer Mitchell.
Janet was a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Church, Bullskin Twp.
She was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1963. She was Supervisor of Shipping and Receiving Dept. of the former Scottdale Mennonite Publishing House, where she was employed for a number of years.
She was the official Seamstress for the Southmoreland High School Marching Band for all band uniforms, which she was honored to hold this position.
In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, sewing, camping and boating.
She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister -in-Law and Mother-In-Law to her family.
Janet is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Family and Friends are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Monday from 2- 4PM and 6- 8PM.
Additional Visitation will be held Tuesday in the Funeral Home from 10AM – 11AM at which time her Funeral Service will be held, with her Son-In-Law Pastor Robert Grimm, Pastor of the Church of God, Kittanning, Officiating.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Eutsey Cemetery, White, Pa.
