James Joseph Kucera, 86 of, Scottdale passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, January 16, 2022 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.
He was born December 18, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant the son of the late Joseph and Mary C. Felo Kucera who died in 1985 and 1983 respectively.
Jim was a long time and faithful member of The Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale.
He was a graduate of the former Hurst High School Class of 1954. Jim was employed as a Parts Salesman for the former Smith Auto Parts, Scottdale, (NAPA) with 56 years of service.
Jim enjoyed attending his Daughters Band events and his granddaughters sporting events as they were the love of his life. He was a former golfer and bowler for the former St. John Church Bowling League.
Jim was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother to his family and a friend to many.
Jim is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,
His loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Jarko Kucera, whom he married June 3, 1961.

His Caring Granddaughters:
Ashley Belzer and Alexei Belzer both of Mt. Pleasant
His Brother:
Edward Kucera and wife Bonnie of Charolette, NC.

A Private Family visitation will be held on Wednesday in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale..
All are invited to a Public Funeral Mass Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:30AM in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale with his Pastor, Rev Elmer Alforque, as Celebrant. EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.
In lieu of customary remembrances, Jim’s family requests that Memorial Contributions be directed to St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, South Broadway, Scottdale, PA 15683, in his Memory.
