Ian E. Hixenbaugh, 39 of Market Street, Scottdale, passed away peacefully, in the early morning hours Sunday, September 25, 2022 at The Grove, following a lingering illness,
He was born February 25, 1983 in Framingham, Mass. the son of Lyle and Mary Lynn Barish Hiexenbaugh of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Ian was Catholic by faith and attended Duchesn High School in St. Charles, Missouri and received his GED at St. Charles Community College. He then attended California University from 2004 – 2006 and then attended Fairmont State University for his Nursing Degree.
He was employed as a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Technician at Passavant Hospital, Wexford, prior to his illness.
Ian’s life will forever be cherished by his parents, Lyle and Mary Lynn Barish Hixenbaugh.
His two Sisters:
Susanne Eakin and husband James of Hartville, OH.
Amy Flynn and husband Jeff of St. Peters, MO.
A Number of Nieces and Nephews, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins and close Scottdale friends who were always there for him.
He was preceded in death by:

Ian’s Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, in Scottdale, at the Frank Kapr Funeral Home.
