Heidi G. Trout Murphy, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in Independent Health Frick Hospital, Saturday January 11, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on January 21, 1980, in Mt. Pleasant, Heidi was a cherished daughter, wife, sister, aunt, bonus mom and friend who brought joy and light to everyone she encountered. Heidi's childhood years were spent in the nurturing care of her parents, Cathy G. Roadman Trout and the late William L. Trout (August 4, 2008), who instilled in her the values of love and family that would define her life. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sister, Amanda "Mandy" Fullem of Connellsville, and embraced her role as a "Bonus Mom" to her beloved nieces, Abby and Tori Fullem, with whom she shared countless treasured moments. On May 27, 2017, Heidi married, Thomas William Murphy, in a beautiful ceremony. Her "My Aunt Bonnie," was an integral part of her life. And her in-laws, "Second Dad" Thomas E. Murphy, Jr., and Christine Murphy. The joy she found in her furry companions, her cat Meep and her dog Molly, who were her constant and devoted friends. Heidi was a proud alumni of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1998. Her dedication to excellence continued as she attended and graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy with the highest honors. Her hard work and passion for her craft were evident to all who knew her, and she quickly became a respected figure in her field. Beyond her professional achievements, Heidi was known for her loving nature, selflessness, and friendly demeanor. She was the heart of her family, always placing their needs above her own, and her absence will leave an irreplaceable void in their lives. Heidi's vibrant personality was magnetic, drawing people to her with her infectious smile and genuine interest in their well-being. She was truly a friend to all, and her ability to make a lasting impression on those she met was one of her most remarkable traits. Heidi's zest for life extended to her leisure activities. She found joy in playing bingo, visiting the casino, and embarking on cruises, always with a sense of adventure and fun. Her presence at these gatherings was a source of happiness and laughter for everyone around her. The words loving, selfless, and friendly only begin to describe Heidi's character. She had a heart as big as her personality, and she spread love and kindness wherever she went. Family and Friends of Heidi are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 2 – 4PM & 6- 8PM. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 10AM until 11AM at which time her Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Neil Stevens, officiating. Committal Services and Interment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The Funeral Home doors will be locked in between visiting hours.
