Harry W. Colflesh, Sr., 69, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at Westmoreland Hospital. Born on July 30, 1956, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Russel and Helen Rogozinski Colflesh. Harry's life was a testament to the values of family, service, and hard work.
A 1974 graduate of Connellsville High School, Harry carried with him the spirit of his hometown throughout his life. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force, a period of his life that shaped much of his character and instilled in him a sense of discipline and duty. After his service, Harry returned to his roots and began a distinguished 25-year career as a Glazer with Fay West Glass.
Harry's love for the Pittsburgh Steelers was only matched by his passion for tinkering in his shed. He could often be found amidst a myriad of tools and projects, always ready to crack a joke, flash a smile, and lend a helping hand.
Above all, Harry was a loving father and the best grandfather. He is survived by his sons, Harry W. Colflesh, Jr. and his wife Nicole (Rishel) of Connellsville, and David Alan Colflesh and his wife Lisa (Bugosh) of West Overton. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Alayna and Selena Colflesh, and Olivia and Owen Colflesh, who will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and unwavering support.
A lifelong friendship is a rare treasure, and Harry was fortunate to share such a bond with Ruth Sembower of Connellsville. Their camaraderie and shared memories brought joy and companionship to Harry's life, a connection that will be fondly remembered by all who knew them.
In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his Wife, Alma Colflesh.
Harry's presence was a light in the lives of many. He was the embodiment of a loving, funny, and handy man. His laughter filled rooms, and his kindness touched hearts. Harry's influence will continue to be felt through the lives of his family, the memories of his friends, and the countless lives he brightened with his humor and generosity.
In honoring Harry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. His cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683.
