Gerald B. Brown, 81 of Orchard Ave. Scottdale, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness, early Thursday morning, December 15, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
He was born August 13, 1941 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Bernard B. and Jean Ruth Shallenberger Brown.
Jerry was a Graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1955. He was most recently employed by GetGo of Mt. Pleasant as a Greeter and Car Wash Attendant with 7 years of Service. Previously, he was employed by Warehouse Groceries for 10years.
He loved to Hunt and Fish and was a member of the Bridgeport Sportsmen’s Club.
He was a proud Veteran of the Air Force, obtaining the rank of E-4 from 1964 -1966.
Jerry was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Brother to his family and a friend to all who knew him.
Jerry is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him;
His loving and devoted wife of 58 years, whom he married, June 27, 1964,

His Great Grandchildren:
Jordan, Kobe, Jianna, Olivia, Blane and Kristopher
His Brother:
Barry Brown of San Diego, CA.

Jerry’s family will greet friends Monday, December 19, 2022 in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 from 4PM – 7PM at which time his Funeral Service will begin with Pastor Lee Kline, Officiating.
Full Military honors will be accorded at the Funeral Home prior to the Funeral Service by the Scottdale Everson Honor Guard.
