Fred L. Polander

Fred L. Polander, 68, passed away on August 21, 2025, at Independence Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1957, in Mt. Pleasant, the son the late Steven and Eleanor Baken Polander. Fred was a proud graduate of Connellsville High School, Class of 1975. After graduation, Fred found solace in the great outdoors, with fishing being one of his most cherished pastimes. He was also a passionate fan of motorsports.Fred was employed by Lenox Glass of Mt. Pleasant with 25 years service.  He is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Neville and her husband Bryan of Scottdale. Fred's grandchildren, Kayla Peterson and her husband Levi of New York, and Kylie and Dylan Neville, both of Scottdale. Fred's sister, Glenda Trout of Maryland, and his brother, Stephen Polander and wife Cathy of Mt. Pleasant. His nieces, Monyque Stingleton and her husband Frank, and Sophia Dudzinsky and her husband Jason. His great-nieces Amber Bunch and Rosie Shipley, along with his great-great-nieces and nephew, Avery, Naomi, and Ezekiel. In addition to his Parents, Fred was preceded in death by, his Nephew, Tony Airhart. In honoring Fred’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
