Franklin E. "Frank" Lint, of Scottdale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on July 4, 1947, in Dickerson Run, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James W. and Laura Grimm Lint. Frank was a man of integrity, known for his loving, kind, and gentle nature. Frank spent his life dedicated to his beloved wife, Ethel A. Toth Lint, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. His legacy continues through his adoring children: Franklin E. Lint, Jr. and his wife Lorrie of Everson; Laurie Ann Steele and her husband Bill of Everson; and Robert A. Lint and Josh Martin of Scottdale. Frank was the proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, whose lives he touched with his warmth, wisdom and laughter. He is survived by his brother, Bill Ebbert and wife Diane of Mt. Pleasant, His Sister-in-Law, Janice Lint of Vanderbilt.His caregiver Jen Ryder, whom he loved as a daughter. In addition to his Parents, Frank's life was preceded by the passing of his daughter, Marie B. Lint (2022), His Son-In-Law, Vaughn Sirgey (2024), Brothers, James W. Lint, Charles Lint, George Lint, Donald Lint. His Sisters: Leona Cassler, Betty Baird and Edna Grace Lint. And Roger Lint in Infancy. His family will remember him as the cornerstone of their lives, a man who brought joy and stability to every gathering. Frank's professional life was marked by dedication and hard work. He was a retired professional truck driver, having provided 15 years of service to Remaley Equipment and Supply of Mt. Pleasant, and Stone and Company of Connellsville. Prior to these roles, he was employed by Geary Indiana Steel Work for three years. His commitment to his work was further exemplified by his membership with Teamsters Local 30 of Jeannette. Outside of work, Frank was an avid outdoorsman, finding solace and excitement in hunting and fishing. His love for the outdoors was only matched by the love he had for his family. Friends and loved ones knew Frank as a man who would always lend an ear or a helping hand. Family and Friends of Frank are cordially invited Tuesday, December 31, 2024 to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683 from 2-4PM & 6 -8PM. His Funeral Service will be held January 1, 2025 at 1PM at the Everson Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall, with Pastor Rick Phillips, Officiating.
