Eleanor L. (Bugosh) Bacorn

Eleanor L. Bugosh Bacorn, 92 of Alverton passed away, Wednesday Evening, March 29, 2023, at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

Eleanor was born, March 12, 1931, in Donnelly Branch, the daughter of the John G. and Veronica Mehallick Bugosh.

She was a longtime and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale.

Eleanor was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School Class of 1949. She was employed as a Seamstress for Morris Clothing Store, Scottdale, for 50 years.

She loved to play and attend bingo’s since the age of 17 years old. She was a dedicated Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan. She also enjoyed going to the Casino with her daughter Pat.

Eleanor is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Bugosh (Feb. 27, 1996), Elizabeth Hobson (Oct. 25, 1988), Irene J. Johnston (Jul. 9, 1995), Bernard T. Bugosh (Dec. 10, 1991), Carl Bugosh (May 7, 1996), Harold Bacorn (Nov. 22, 2002) and Spencer Johnston (Feb. 15, 2005).

Family and Friends of Eleanor are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale,  Sunday from 2 – 4 PM & 6 – 8 PM, where Prayers of Transfer will be recited Monday, April 3, 2023, at 10:30 AM in the Funeral Home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Partner Parish of St, John the Baptist R.C. Church, Scottdale, with the Rev. Elmer Alforque as Celebrant.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in St. John Parish Cemetery, Scottdale.
