Edythe M. Blaney, 75 of Bullskin Twp., passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 8, 2020 at her home.
She was born January 12, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Frank and Charlotte Lisbon Scardina.
Edythe was a former member of St. John R.C. Church of Scottdale.
She was a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1963. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxillary of Bullskin Volunteer Fire Dept as well as a Trustee. She was a Judge of Elections in Bullskin Twp. For a number of years.
Edythe was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to her family.
Edythe is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,
Her loving and devoted husband, Alex R. Blaney of Bullskin Twp. of 53 years, whom she married March 13, 1968

Rhonda S. Coffman and husband Bob of Scottdale
Her Eight Grandchildren:
Laura Degula, Adam Echard, Sarah Echard, Alex Blaney, Allison Blaney, Tommy Hixson, Jesse Hall and Cody Hall.
Her Four Great Grandchildren:
Keylee, Xavier, Adelaide and Oswyn
In addition to her parents, Edythe was preceded in death by:
Brother: Frank “Skip” Scardina, Jr.
Infant: John Snyder
Edythe’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Thursday from 2PM – 8PM.
Her Funeral Liturgy will take place in the Funeral Home, Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1PM.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
A Very Special Thank You to Kristin for such special care and love given to Edythe. It did not go unnoticed.
