Dorothy Elizabeth Prutz, 88, of Scottdale, died early Monday morning in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg, Hempfield Twp.
She was born June 12, 1929 in Uniontown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Haragos Bendis.
Dorothy was a longtime and faithful member of the Partner Parish of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson.
She enjoyed her loving family and spending time with her grandchildren and loved to crochet. Since Dorothy was such an avid Steelers fan, In her spare time, she enjoyed making Steeler dolls for all of her family and friends.
Dorothy is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her,

Dorothy’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM and Saturday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM.
St Joseph Society will recite the Rosary Saturday at 1:45 PM
A parish wake service will be held Saturday at 6 PM both in the Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation on Easter Sunday
Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 10:30 AM in the Funeral Home followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM in the Partner Parish of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Everson with her Pastor, Rev. Andrew M. Kawecki, as Celebrant.
Committal Services and Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
