Doris J. Lint, 84, of Everson, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born on August 22, 1940, in Fayette Co., the daughter of the late Norman and Elta Bittner Miller. Doris’s gentle spirit and unwavering kindness profoundly impacted all who knew her throughout her life. Doris was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose family was the cornerstone of her existence. She is survived by her loving children, David J. Lint and Candie of Greensburg, Duane J. Lint of Everson, Darlene J. Martinosky of Everson, Darrin J. Lint of Jeannette, Dennis J. Lint of Everson, Denise J. Thompson and her husband Tony of Smithton, and Deann J. Kemerer and her husband Chris of Everson. The legacy of Doris's love is also carried on by her eleven cherished grandchildren, Sheena and Jonathan, Kevin and Sarah, Melissa and Jamie, Jimmy, Rachel and Dan, Tiffany and Steven, Madison, Abigail and Ryan, Danielle and Daniel, and Ryan and Keith. Her nine great-grandchildren, Rylee, Lily, Logan, Brandon, Benjamin, Michael and Courtney, Nick, Dominic, and Syeira. Doris also leaves behind her brother’s-in-law, Larry Lint and his wife Gladys of Irwin, and Daniel Lint of Scottdale. The bond she shared with her extended family was a testament to her belief in the enduring strength of family ties. In addition to her Parents, Doris was predeceased by Her Husband James J, Lint (August 7, 2015) Grandson, Brandon Bargiband (April 18, 2018) Son-In-Law Eugene Martinosky (May 31, 2019) Two Brothers: Merle and Milford Miller A Sister and Brother-In-Law, Mabel and William Lint. An ardent lover of nature’s simple beauties, Doris found joy in the vibrant reds of cardinals and the serene blues of bluebirds. While staying with her daughter, Doris spent countless hours enjoying her dog Jax, petting and giving him love and attention. Doris lived a life marked by faith and a gentle demeanor that drew people to her. Her faith was the foundation upon which she built her life and it guided her in all her actions, providing strength and comfort during both joyous and challenging times. The love she gave freely to others was a reflection of her deep and abiding faith. Friends and Family of Doris are cordially invited Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2 – 4 PM & 6 – 8 PM in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale, Pa. 15683. Her Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at 11AM in the Funeral Home, with her Pastor Rob Allison, of Harvest Church, officiating. Committal Services and Interment will follow in Green Lick Cemetery. A special Thank You to the Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the care and love that was shown to Doris and her family during her stay.
