Donald Neiderhiser Obituary

Donald A. Neiderhiser, 76 of Galeann Drive, Mt. Pleasant, (Standard Shaft) passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 2, 2022 at Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 7, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Joseph G. and Jean Piper Neiderhiser.

Don was a member of Center Bethel Church of God, Alverton.

He was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1963. He was a retired Driver and Salesman for Pepsi Bottling of Kecksburg with 18 years of service. Previously, Don was employed as an Independent Steel Hauler for 16 years.

He was an Active Volunteer for the Yough River Trail for 7 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and hobby trains.

Don is gone from our lives, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him,

His First Wife: Carol R. Forejt Neiderhiser (June 14, 2004)

His Second Wife: Linda L. Snider Neiderhiser (Oct. 1, 2021)

Sister: Wilma Slonecker

Brother: Robert Blackson

Family and Friends of Don are cordially invited to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc., 417 Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Monday, November 7, 2022 from 2 -4 & 6 – 8PM where his Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2022 with the Pastor Robert Bixel, Officiating.

Committal Services and Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
